Camera Type

TSCP operate two types of camera. Fixed Radar film cameras and mobile laser video cameras in a vehicle.

All our safety cameras are indicated on the camera location maps. Click on the safety camera icons for detailed information about each individual camera site.

All our cameras are operated and tested annually, in line with the Home Office Type Approval Process. The calibration certificates are available on this website. The cameras and equipment are operated by trained technicians. We publish the locations of the cameras each week in the local media, however these sites are subject to change.

  • This system is effective in the identification of motorcyclists and drivers in offences where vehicles are moving away from the camera van
